Property Info
Location. Set one block from the town center of historic Annapolis, Md., the Scotlaur Inn offers bed and breakfast accommodations overlooking Chesapeake Bay. St. John's College, the William Paca House and Garden, and the State House are just a quarter-mile walk. Guests are surrounded by a variety of dining options, including steakhouses and seafood restaurants. Right around the corner from the inn is the United States Naval Academy, where the finest students in the country study to become Naval Officers.
Hotel Features. The inn is fashioned in early twentieth-century style and offers a stately Colonial atmosphere. Guests receive a complimentary breakfast of limited items at the Chick & Ruth's Delly downstairs. Complimentary items include muffins, bagels with cream cheese, pancakes, French toast, cereal, two eggs with toast and delly potatoes. Guests can order addition items of the menu for an extra charge. Pets are allowed at the inn if they do not bark and are well trained. Parking is available at a city garage for $8 for 24 hours (subject to change).
Guestrooms. The Scotlaur Inn offers ten old-fashioned guestrooms with private baths. Televisions, speaker telephones and wireless Internet access are included. Some guestrooms have DVD players. Some rooms have Main Street views from their windows.
Expert Tip. Guests venturing downstairs to the restaurant at 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday or at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday will find the innkeepers and local residents reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, a traditional since 1989.

From Baltimore-Washington International Airport:
Depart the airport onto I-195 W.
Take the MD-170 N exit (Exit 1) toward I-97/Annapolis/Bay Bridge.
Merge onto Aviation Blvd and continue for three miles.
Turn left onto Dorsey Rd/MD-176 E.
Merge onto I-97 S toward Annapolis/Bay Bridge and continue for approximately 15 miles.
Take the MD-665 exit toward Aris T Allen Boulevard/Riva Rd.
Merge onto US-50 E/US-301 N via Exit 22 on the left, toward Annapolis/Bay Bridge.
Take the Rowe Blvd S exit (Exit 24) toward Annapolis.
Merge onto MD-70 E.
Turn right onto College Ave/MD-450 W.
Enter the next roundabout and take the fourth exit onto Duke of Gloucester St.
Turn left onto Green St.
Turn left onto Main St and continue for 1/10 mile to the property. |
